FAQ

Questions families ask us

Can’t find your answer? Our family team is happy to help.

Is the centre really free?

Yes. Membership, programs, meals, camps and trips are 100% free. Families never pay anything, and we never ask for banking details.

Who can join?

Any child aged 5 to 17 living in Canada. Most members live in the Greater Toronto Area, but visiting families are welcome on Saturdays.

Is MrBeast involved?

The building and the first three years of operation are funded by MrBeast’s charity foundation. Day-to-day, the centre is run by a local team of staff and volunteers.

Do I need to book activities?

Most programs are drop-in. Summer camp, trips and some Teen Hub workshops need a free sign-up because places are limited.

Are programs in French?

Yes. All core programs run in English and French, and many staff also speak Arabic, Mandarin, Tagalog, Spanish or Tamil.

Can young children come alone?

Children aged 5–8 must be dropped off and picked up by an authorised adult. From age 9, kids may sign in on their own with parental consent.

What about allergies and diets?

Our kitchen is nut-free and offers halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options. Tell us about allergies on the registration form.

How do you keep kids safe?

Every staff member and volunteer has a vulnerable sector check and safeguarding training. Entry is by member card and the building has a staffed front desk.

Can I donate money?

The centre is fully funded, so we ask for supplies and volunteer time instead. Be careful of anyone asking for money on our behalf.
